Newbie Tip : Busy checking your email or text messages while playing? Don’t worry, that loud beep is not the fire alarm, it’s telling you that it’s time to act! Post flop play
As soon as the pre-flop betting round ends, post-flop play begins. This begins with the dealing of three cards face up called the “flop”. The rules and betting options are pretty much the same as for pre-flop play. Players may check (bet nothing), bet, call, fold or raise depending on their position and any other action that has previously taken place, with one exception. The first player to act after the flop is the first player with a hand to the dealer’s left.
Newbie Tip : It can take some time to figure out when to check,
bet, call, raise or fold after the flop. But the more flops you see, the sooner you’ll get used to it.
Once all players have had a chance to act after the flop, the next card dealt is the turn. This betting round has the same rules and options as the previous ones, i.e. players can check, bet, call (if there is a bet), raise (if there is a bet) or fold. With a bit of luck, you could land one of the higher value hands listed on the Step 2 table and win a massive pot at the end.
The turn is when you have a made hand or are way behind. It is not always advisable to go after the river card to win.
Post River Game
The next community card to be dealt is called 온라인홀덤 In all the previous rounds of betting you had the opportunity to improve your hand, but this round is different. The river is the final fifth card, but players still have the option to check, bet, call (if there is already a bet), raise (if there is already a bet), or fold. The next step is the most exciting. We already know you can’t contain yourself!
General Knowledge for Beginners : The name “river” probably originates from Stud Poker, which was played on boats on the Mississippi River in the 19th century.
The moment of showing the cards is one of the most exciting phases of the game. In this phase, if there is more than one player left, the winner must show their hand to win the pot. The player with the highest value hand, based on the rankings in Step 2, will win. There are no more rounds of betting left and that player with the best hand takes it all! Let’s hope it’s you!
